The One who was Born to be Different

Long long ago, in Ancient America, a child was born into a tribe. This child had been given a specific purpose to fulfil. He had been given a special connection to and love for animals. This got him into a lot of trouble.
When it came time for the hunt, he would chase all the animals away and he refused to kill any animal. This was very difficult for his tribe, as they had to ensure they had enough food. They tried to convince the boy to change, but he refused. They eventually decided the boy would have to be outcast.
The boy stood his ground and went to live in the forest with the animals. Then, Great Spirit appeared to him and was pleased, for he had followed his intuition and inner guidance, even when under a great deal of external pressure. As a reward, the boy was turned in to a Golden Eagle, one who flies with Great Spirit.
This story is a reminder to always follow your inner guidance.
